Hi
Came across this 'thing' while we were out on a walk at Auchincruive on Sunday.

This is for Twinkletoes as she knows my fear of these 'things'! Not only was I within a few feet but I also used manual focus for the first time as the bg was very busy and the camera struggled to focus in. 'It' was suspended between two trees in its web........eeeeewwwww!

PP - Cropped, levels adjusted, vignette added to stress 'the dark side'! resized for tl.

Hope you are proud of me karen!

Thanks for looking
Cheers
Linzi

Yeahhhhhh, knew we'd get control of your fear of these "things" eventually.

Bit disappointed though that you were a few "feet" away. I was "inches" from mine lol!!!! Maybe next time?????

I have one that looks very similar to this across my greenhouse door. I keep the pegs for my washing in the greenhouse so have to dodge it each time. I daren't knock the web in case it runs at me.

Great focus on this enormous guy (although in reality he's probably very, very small). Surprising how hairy his legs are.

Well done - and yes Im proud.
