[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Hi
This is one from our holiday in Arran earlier this year. Was trawling thru my snaps and came across this one.

The light on the day was not good so decided to play about with a little pp. Liked the shadow the stone cast at a nice angle.

PP - Levels adjusted, changed to B&W, sharpened the stone, added a 'sunset' tinge to the sky ommitting some of the clouds.

As the nights are drawin' in as they say I seem a little bit more interested in sky and night shots! Better get used to it as we wont have many daylight hours left soon.....

As always thanks for looking...

cheers
Linzi

Hello Linzi,

Great capture.
Beautiful colours with excellent detail.
Good composition and lighting.

Hiya Linzi
This is really great. Doesn't look like its from Scotland, more like a desert (or dessert - never sure of the spelling but I mean the hot sandy places not the pudding) shot.
Love the colour you've put into the sky. Really effective and the shadow from the stone is good.
