the different lighting in this path are really interesting

I'm so sad about Paul Newman, he was such a great actor and a fine man. This photo just rocks! LOVE how you did this, with the pathway just leading you into the shot. Just excellent! It's amazing, this photo would not work in color. It would be too boring, too busy..but in BW with a little zip added, it just is amazing!

Hello Brian,

a wonderful composition. It reminded me of illustrations for books of fairy tails.
The path leads you through the whole image. And I think (just as Linda does) that this wouldn't have worked in color.
I like this shot. And I think it is a great dedication to the memory for Paul Newman.
