Sitting on a low wall, waiting on Sunday noon, King’s Cross Station in London, it was stifling hot.
Instead of being bored and impatient, I decided to pass the time being 'creative'...
I noticed all the people hurrying by and especially, that EVERYBODY was lugging bags, lots of bags, of all types, colours and designs. Spotted, striped, classic, coloured, you name it!
I wondered, what were they all transporting? Can we not go anywhere without our ‘wheeled’ carriers? Often not one but more, backpacks, plastic, leather, designed, handbags, so many. All different, just like the people, their shoes, legs and leg wear!
I saw people traveling alone, in pairs, in group, I saw them smile, I saw them laugh, I saw some cry, I saw some depressed and some tired, people of all walks of life.
I saw hellos and I saw good-byes... all the emotions...
I became smilingly fascinated and eventually left feeling a great sense of joy because of this series. Have a look at the set? Which one tickles your fancy? I’m curious and interested!
I feel so biased, I like them ALL, LOL, thanx, M, (*_*)

This compilation is just a small 'teaser', for more images in this series, visit my website, address on intro page.

Hi Magda; what an interesting montage, and great observation on your part.
Which one is my favorite? I don't know that I could pick one out that I favor over the others ... all very interesting.
Trudy

Hi Magda,
I really like the thought behind these photos. I wouldn't have thought of filling my time this way. Which shows that there is more to see and do than one would think. I also like the collage of the different photos since I think that a single photo wouldn't have been as strong as these together. It would be interesting to find out if the choise of the suitcase reflects the personality of the owner. One small downside to the collage is that not evey photo has the same size and that the border at the bottom is smaller than at the top. I think more frame at the bottom works better since it allows the photo to stand on something. (normal practise in framing)

Hi Magda

Original, interesting and amusing :-)
I was at Charlotte airport waiting to get on a flight and did the same thing, just to while away the time!

Hi Magda

A superb multiple image of bags at the airport. This strikes a chord with me, as I leave Korea on Thursday, & have to buy a new suitcase, as the handle is broken on my old one. Tfs!

Fancy colorful suitcases you have captured; most of them very feminine. And I thought all the suitcases were black or at least dark. Good way to have some fun where there is nothing to do but wait. I like it. Very creative. TFS

This one makes me chuckle. I feel like mixing up the bags with the people, or separating them and making a game out of trying to match the right bag to the correct owner:)

What a good way to make creative use of time, and enjoying some clever results. The POVs and details are fun and interesting. I might have tried to make the sizes and borders even, but there is a nice casualness as you did them. Great work:)
