[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I've never really played around in photoshop before but thought I'd give it a try with this shot.I havent learned how to work with layers yet!
The ladybird was climbing a blade of grass on the lawn,I took a macro shot of it but there was a bit motion blur as it was moving quite quickly.I used the burn tool to darken some of the most blurry areas.
For the reflective effect I used the liquify filter and tried some of the lighting effects.
Still a way to go but at least I enjoyed doing it!
USM and a quick run through Neatimage.

Amazing shot Andy, I must say I like what you have done to overcome the compensate for the blurring, this is really a great macro with an interesting pose, your PP work is great.

Very good experiment Andy, rusult is great, very well done, Regards, piotr

I really like this! That the bug is partially in and out of the water adds something, for some reason. Great!

Well,
you certainly managed to deceive ME! I really thought it was a ladybird coming out of water!
You cheeky...!!!
