[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Hi
Have been disappointed lately with the lack of butterflies around now due to the drop in temperature so decided to browse my flutter-by photos.

Forgot about these little guys that we raised and released earlier in the year. Liked this shot because of the detail of the 'hairy' body and the eye - the tip of the top wing is out of focus but I am happy with the sharpness in the lower wing detail.

Cropped this slightly and removed noise through neat image. Adjusted levels and sharpened. This was taken back in the day when I took shots in 'auto' mode...oh the shame!...:)

I like this shot! most of the B-fly is in focus...in fact, it's very focused and unbelievably sharp!
Looks like he was clumsily hanging on! :)
I had a photo Editor tell me on my latest Painted Lady shot that having part of the butterfly out of focus was not to his liking but I have to disagree and I'm inclined to not think that here. I think this is very acceptable.

Great details in the eye and back wing (the front wing is a little too blurry unfortunately) and I especially like the POV and position of the butterfly in the frame, which is different to the usual shots on TL.
