[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
My contibution to this weeks theme.

Taken at Leaderfoot over the River Tweed, there are three bridge over the river here.
The old road bridge built in 1780 which is now closed to traffic.
The railway viaduct built in 1865 and ceased use in 1948.
This is the underside of the current road bridge which was opened in 1973.

Took 5 images as it was a very bright day and the underside of the bridge was very dark, merged in photomatix.

Using Paint Shop Pro X2
Cropped the image.
Increased contrast slightly.
Converted to sepia.
Resized for TL.
High pass sharpen.
Added a border.

Nice shot.

Good perspective.

I'm not so sure about the HDR/tone mapping. A little bit to strong I think. Looks like there is a bit of a halo around the bridge. Especially on the right side of it where the sky is darker.

I like the sepia effect on this one. Adds a lot of mood to it I think.

Abosolutely superb! I really do like this shot, the sepia tones are very effective and give a timeless feel to the view. The lighting and detail are excellent and what I really like is the way you have run the bridge directly from the corners of the shot. I am fussy about things like that and I think you got this just right.
