[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Beautiful day today, apart from being bitterly cold. So had a trip to Talla which is about 18 miles from home.

Went with Gordon Seales (so there maybe a similar image to come).

Must admit that I'm getting a bit too old for clambering down over rocks. But I do think the image is worth it and I was desparate to try out my new lens.

PS I dont like large borders as we have limited size to up load. I would rather see a larger photograph.

Hi Peter,

Even on a low res jpeg I can see a lot of detail on the distant left hill, lovely clarity. I have a friend with the d3 and the 14-24 lens and he just had one of his images blown up to 30"x20" and it's razor sharp with amazing detail.

Nice image. Good composition. Excellent lighting. Fascinating subject matter. Next time, I'll bring a zimmer frame for you when we go and it can double up as a tripod.

hi peter, just about a perfect landscape for me, got everything i think a good landscape shot should have. water, rocks, green land, sky, clouds, great textures and shadows, and amazing colours. great details throughout and a perfect pov, very good composition, thanks.
