Nice one Brian great play of light and shade, which is what its all about. Plus the texture is there too.

Composition works well with both the road and the fence leading the viewer into the shot.

Nice one.

Peter

hi brian,

good pov, nice idea, good lines in the fence. good shadows and textures in the fg, unfortunately the image is over-exposed in the top half of the road. perhaps using the histogram as your composing the shot might prevent the over-exposure. for this posting maybe a tighter crop would help. hope this helps you with future postings.

regards cd

Hi Brian,
The light and shadow play is good here as is your composition and PoV, all make for a very interesting shot.
Thing is, the darks overwhelmed the camera and made the light, especially at the top of the road very overexposed and somewhat devoid of detail--not an easy lighting condition.
I decided to try to balance things a bit in a WS, see what you think.
Otherwise, I like the image and the idea, we'll see if the WS helps with the light.
TFS,
Wilt

I love how you did this Brian, because this is just what catches my eye when the shadows are long. The clarity is incredible, the photo MOVES when you scroll up and down, almost 3D sensation to the eyes! I love it! Excellent work...everyone knows you are the REAL Trampas...not some fake
B-)

Another Trampas original! I see Harry still stalking you - pretty poor undercover work from someone who sees himself as a secret agent ;-)

Jeez, I miss these muddy country lanes/farm tracks. Spent many a time walking down them in the Borders, often with a springer spaniel in tow - well, "towing me" would be more accurate :-) So this touched me a bit on an emotional levels as many of your pics do - they remind me of my past, happy memories.

I like the lines here - the lines of the fence and the track, a good feeling of the vanishing point in this shot. Colour treatment works well also. Nice play of light and shadows and I love the reflections in the puddles - they are highlighted even more dramatically by the slight OE that 007 might want you to eliminate.

The only thing I might suggest is a slightly lower POV - do you think that'd work? Might mean getting your knees muddy :-)

Brian Hi:
Splendid artistic work my friend. You keep thinking outside the box, your artistic talents make these images impressive and a pleasure to study.
Congratulations, very very well composed and impressively presented,
my good friend

Sure must sell heavy duty drugs in Texas! 3D? No just very overexposed. Doesn't every photo move on your PC screen when you scroll? Kick back and keep smoking that sh*t!

hello Brian;
shadows look nice here but I like most the temperature of colours; sepia in this tones is excellent; the ground has interesting look;
all image is very good;
