A beautiful character portrait shot. A bit of detail is lost in the white areas, but it does not detract from the photo. It looks a bit grainy (enlarged into the crop?). An even closer crop would strengthen the composition more. I'd crop away the pane at the left and the area to the right of the suitcase. This would leave you with good diagonal composition, balanced by the reflection in the glass. Well seen!

J'aime beaucoup cet aspect granuleux de ce portrait qui colle mieux à la vie quotidienne. L'atmosphère qui en resort est sévère mais paisible. Très belle composition.

Lovely portrait shot with a face that tells many stories. I like the composition and the reflection in the glass - the B&W works well here..makes the shot look older...(apart from the No smoking sign! :))
I agree with Cecil re the noise/grain and the crop idea would be interesting to try.....so I did! I hope you like the workshop

pas mal cette photo de lecteurs, la lecture de l'image est simple et facile, on sait où on est, on sait ce qui se passe, ça raconte la vie quotidienne de gens dans le transport public, qui s'évadent dans le roman (comme je le faisais quand j'étais sur Paris) ou qui lisent les nouvelles (reflet)
des contrastes assez forts et intéressants pour du N&B
