This is a little waterfall below one of the first mountains I ever climbed Ben an Lochan in Glen Croe above the rest and be thankful. The mountains around this area are known as the Arrochar Alps a wonderful area for photography.

Hi Douglas
A good image of a beautiful scene. The water has been captured given a sense of movement. You have some good sunlight falling on the mountain behind.
Well done.
Mike

Just amazing work as always Douglas, another award for you..maybe I'll just give them ALL to you...(don't tell anyone!!).... my other boyfriends will be jealous! LOL!...This is so nice and sharp, really top notch work here! I'm wondering though why you used F10... instead of 7...and a bit higher shutter speed? Hmmmmm you have secrets I don't know! I will try!
B-)

Hi Douglas,
a lovely Scottish landscape shot with good DoF and rich colours.
There is something about the sky that doesn't look right maybe its because its a sunny day in Scotland - I don't remember that many when I was growing up there,
cheers

Hi Douglas,
nice diagonal compo and bright colours, well done photo!
Best wishes,
Elena

Douglas,

The background hills and lighting are particularly fine here. The classic Scottish look - apart from the sun, obviously! ;)

The waterfall makes a nice foreground, but I can't help but feel that it would have been (even) more magical with a different shutter speed - faster or slower - as this "middle ground" 1/60th leaves it looking a little ordinary.

Regards
colin
