this is on the farm where i stay.
we all take these type of fences for granted. it was not until i helped put one up that i realised the effort required.

i played around in cs3 and photo wiz.
added a soft focus effect to add a touch of mood.

all sensible critiques welcome.

Hi Brian,

I like this one too... I like the way the fence looks like it extends way past the horizontal enclosure. I'm not sure what kind of coloring you are using in the shot, but I like the effect.

Thanks for sharing your home place with us.

Lisa

beautifully composed with the diagonal cuting across the frame...
nice dof you have maintained.
yes, i'm sure its hard work, putting up a fence.

i wouldnt mind seeing the color version!

Hi Brian,

Nice colouring and focus, but obviously not high enough as you are still escaping.

I like the tones and textures in this picture but I feel the fence doesn't really lead the eye to anything. Its position actually cuts across the image.
The pp treatment is nice.

Brian Hi:
Splendid, amazing PoV, your artistic work is marvelous and creative. Well seen and presneted. I like the title and the boundaries the fence creates of several pastures. Your detail work is very good.
Thanks for the note
Congratulations, very nicely done, my friend

Dear Brian,
I like your picture very much. The softness of contrast and colour gives it a kind of mystic atmospere and the perspective with the fence up that hill, and thus making a diagonal through the picture is well composed.
Having a nice fog in the background would have been perfect for me, but as long as you're not able to influence daily weather, I'm totally happy with this picture... ;)

best wishes, Heike

He he! Nice boundary! Nice and strong, will cut you like a knife if you cross it! Seems some out there think they can cross those boundaries..but soon they will be cut! LOL! Love this Brian! I love the misty feel to it! Nice lead in line the fence makes! I love how you do this!

I LOVE the soft focus here Brian.
I often use it myself!
This is really a great composition. Good perspective and I musst say that I really like the way you reduced the saturation.
Good photo!

Cheers,
Anneke
