| This is another favourite rose; an English David Austin one. I was trying to practise my close-ups. I have just cropped and re-sized only. |

hello Anne,
I love roses and the colours of these peach roses are gorgeous.
The dew on then really enhances the effect.
Good details and colour.
From a composition standpoint, I may have clipped out the central one which is sticking out so far, and thus acts as a distraction.
Well done!
Joni
Nice view of the Roses - the front one's a little blurred.. That's why I feel it's best to shoot in aperture priority. You've taken the pic at f5 and 1/200 sec, which means you could have a narrower aperture - say f11 and still get 1/60 sec. The narrower aperture will give a far greater Depth of Field and so a deeper area in focus..
Indeed - flowers always look better with a little dew on..
Beautiful roses. As WK says, a greater DOF from using smaller aperture could have got the bottom rose in focus. Either that, or a different angle.
Top rose is definitely nice and sharp. Great colours.

I have this rose growing at home - what a beautiful scent it has... How lovely to see all the blossoms together like this. The dew gives an extra special look to the petals too.
Looking at David's critique and your camera - can the Panasonic shoot in aperture priority? For a close up of flowers I think you've done well. It's not easy getting them all in focus this close...
Cheers
