Another image from the Fairford air show in 2006.
This pilot really threw the Mirage around and actually won the display of the year award.

Had i not captured the image i've uploaded here, i doubt very much there'd have been a second chance, because as soon i fired the shutter, he just went into a vertical climb and all that remained was a pin prick in the sky.

Handheld in sports mode at the full focal length of my 70-200mm Canon.
uploaded as taken, no cropping.

Lets call it hot hands. You had them you got the airplane at a very good angle showing its delta wing,after burner and stunning angle of attack. You got a dramatic airplane at a dramatic moment sizzling with intensity.
