Playing with my food again.....
Packet of mixed exotic mushrooms to use in the dinner...but first....

Use a home made flash diffuser to soften the harsh flash a little on the bright white mushrooms.

Critiques [Translate]

I quite like this with the one different mushroom amongst the others. Might have looked better with a slightly larger depth of field, but I'm guessing that you didn't have much light to play with.

I like the organic shapes and almost alien look to the mushrooms and having that one coloured mushroom amongst all the whites works well. As Miles states, perhaps a deeper DOF to get all of the mushrooms in focus would have created a stronger composition, but still a good still life, and something a little different.
