[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
For me, I think this photo of the F1 Tornado has everything in one shot.
It has tones, colours, mood, subject and contrast.

Taken as I was leaving the RIAT in 2007, I couldn't resist the shot.
The sun was setting directly behind me, and with both the warm golden glow from the setting sun reflecting from the orange/red tarmac up against the plane it just begged the shot.

To exaggerate the light against the plane, I added the polarizing filter.
Because the sun was directly behind me, I couldn't remove all reflections, but i was happy with what I saw through the viewfinder. I wanted to saturate the colours more than remove the reflected light.

For even more saturation, I gave +1.0 EV.

My only regret in this shot is my inexperience in PhotoShop. I wanted to clone out the the cones/crowd and ropes.

Cropped without aspect ratio to enhance the dynamacy.
Border added PhotoShop

No enhancements used to add saturation or sharpening.

Hello Mitch! I love airplanes shots, this one is pretty good, the warm colors are interresting and the details are fine. On my monitor it's a bit too dark though(the histogram confirmed that) so I made quick workshop to brighten it a bit, hope you don't mind. Good one, thanks!

Sorry no more smileys :-)

very great Martin!

i love your idea with compo and shades on the corners..
well done
TFS

Kisses
Ania
