[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Hi all

Thought I would try my hand at a little water abstract, I know this has been done by many people many times but thought what the hell and give it a go anyway. I'll not bore you with the details of how the shot was set up, unless requested, as many have explained it before and mine is no different really, it's all just trial and error. It took around 40 shots to get 2 usable one's, this I feel is the best of them.

PP Cropped, resized, saturation boost, levels adjusted accordingly, resharpened, and finally neat imaged to take away noise resulted from the heavy crop.

Thanks for looking!

Hi Dean
you did a good work with the color...as also the sharpness..
I like to see the note about the 40x2 usable photos.
I think you got a good POV too, many of these images around are with a 45 or higher angle...your is almost in the horizontal...

Good work, Dean,
I love the sharp result here very much.
Also make shots like this, I love macroshots and special of drops, always amazing to see the result.
Thanks and greetings

Is this just one capture? Very smooth and well focused. Nice crop. I think the strong base of the splash makes it OK for the droplet to be centered. Very artistic. tFS. Karin

Hi Dean,
A masterpiece of technique, with an extraordinary light.
Congratulations,
Amadeu

Wow dude! Wicked sharp! Love the warm colors too.

Nice clarity and bright colours. What I like about this water drop is the low POV you've managed, and in doing so the feeling of being that bit closer to the water.
Thanks for sharing
Mark

Very arty and I'm beginning to think you have a sensitive side ;-)

I'd love to try this type of shot but always seems too much work. Curious about the aperture and shutterspeed here? The droplet ball with the reflections and sparkles really is wonderful. Great pp work, love the saturation and the overall smoothness.
