[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Good Morning Everyone,

This morning I am posting a shot of a cheeky, little blue tit which had come down into the garden to feed. This nut looks to be a big meal!

These little birds move rapidly and determindly when they come to feed. In the blink of eye they can have been and gone!

A recent t.v. programme explained why we need to be more keen to feed the birds. Because of recent trends in gardening, which has reduced the numbers of natural plants, and the covering of soil with shingle or tarmac, there are fewer insects and seeds on which the birds feed.

Now, when it is becoming colder, they need our help even more!

Good morning Bev,
You certainly have used the maximum focal length of your lens to capture this beauty. Kudos to your quick hands and compsotitional skills for these birds are rather fast flyers. The bird is well focused with attractive bands on its neck. I also have bird feeders at home but squirrels have outsmarted me and I rarely see birds. Wishing you a good weekend. Danilo

well composed shot Beverly, though the sharpness on the bird is off a little you can try next time going to higher shutter speed of at least 1/500 or faster, open your aperture to f5.6 or lower to freeze a fast moving subject, it should be in focus of course.
