[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Hi all

Taken today 2 years on from the last post, a nice heavy frost this morning and clear skys combined with a low sun makes for good B&W/toned images, thought I would include the sign in this one as it seemed to frame the trees.

Hope you like.

PP resized, B&W conversion via channels, gaussian blur for soft focus look, toned via a combo of variations, resharpened and slight border added.

Beautiful gradients through that sepia sky. Good composition and excellent depth of field. Nice work!

Hello Dean
Great work here showing the stark cold morning.
I totally agree with you about the sign framing the trees but maybe just maybe you have just a little to much dead space to the right of the sign?..just my thoughts!!
Excellent pp work capturing brilliant tones throughout the scene right to far horizon.
All the Best
Paul

The sepia work here is top notch Dean.
I love the gradient from left to right.
Very interesting foreground post and sign.
The whole image has a great mood to it.
Well done.

Hi Dean,
Very very beautiful capture, beautiful sepia and good sharpnes,congratulation.Thanks.
Best regards,
Ralf

Lovely atmosphere to this shot, Dean. Cool idea, using the sign to frame the rest of the image. Great silhouette of the main tree. If anything, I'd maybe prefer if you'd panned left slightly to put the sign more on the edge of the shot and decentralise the main tree a wee bit.

I like the slope of the field, far more interesting that a level view, I think. This is a nice one, my friend, and the pp work fits the image nicely.

Interesate atsmofera, composicion, muy interesante. Felicidades :)
