[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
An interesting fungus/mushroom with delicately coloured violet gills and a brownish top.

I would be interested if any one can identify the species.

Now in the process of decay - those of a squeamish nature are advised not to look too closely as there are some small creatures at work!

Hello Peter, a very sharp study of the fungi.I have used your information but I can't seem to find anything that fits.
The detail is amazing, there are even drops of rain/dew.I like all the colours and textures.

this is an excellent study of the mushroom. The sharpness detail of the gill and the gills violet colour are really good.Your POV is just right.This would make an attractive still life study with paints. Why not pick nip your brush!
