This is a gritty shot that works well with the subject and that you've enlivened by your treatment. The color definitely adds interest. it appears that you were a bit imprecise in separating layers. My advice is that if you wish to do this kind of image you need to use a bit more care if you want the image to succeed. I like the image well enough to give you two points, but my eye would be happier if that lovely color at the front covered the two slices at the bottom left. ;-)

I haven't seen it until I read Curtis' comment..I was thinking this is a very good picture with a very TE feeling too..I liked the picture, composition and treatment very much..I am not sure about the frame only..(I do not fancy 3D frames..I always think they steal away from the beauty of a good photograph)..
