A very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and your family.
I love to see red and green together especially at this time of year.
The picture started with a macro of a decorative house plant which was, I think, miniature capiscums.[If anyone knows otherwise, please correct me.]Then I played with effects and the oil paint 'button' to give you this.
The leaves and fruits had shown a layer of dust from being watered in the nursery and I wanted to remove it, so it was a good excuse to use the paint effect.
Thanks for looking. |

Hi, jean . Red and green are complementary colors and artists use these all the time . These effects are giving a painterly touch. The only thing in my humble opinion was to keep the composition simple with few red chillies and darker greens. I still like it though.

Beautiful seasonal look, and a good use of the watercolor filter for an artistic effect that works well. I like the close POV that keeps the composition simple yet full of visual impact. Well done:)
