Lindean Sky
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Just out for a walk around Lindean Loch, maybe not such a good idea. Hardly able to walk due to boggy conditions with snow, rain and hail.
Sun came out for about 30 seconds and managed a few snaps.
Tonemapped this one to give an idea what the sky was like.

Wow, Peter,
Beautiful shot! I love that low POV and the contrasts in the snow and the grass. Wonderful color, exquisite detail and great depth. I particularly like the different colors in the sky with the clouds rolling through. That really is beautiful. Many thanks and kind regards,
Shelly

Hi Peter,
Great pov with brilliant tones and textures, still looks quite cold up there. The sky is great and looks very troubled indeed well done.

Hi Peter,
Nice contrasty lighting, have you had any large prints from your D3 yet.
I was speaking to a local pro I know here in Irvine and he showed me a 30"x40" enlargement from his D3
the quality and detail was stunning.
It might be nice for all us Ayrshire and Borders photographers to meet up somewhere for a photo day out and a good chin wag.

What time where up at Lindean, I left here at lunchtime intending to go to Lindean but ended up at Smailholm.
Like the sky in this one, good use of tonemapping.
