[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The video game epedimic is still with us- the effects of which we guess at, do they make us more violent? decrease the attention span?..... err what was i talking about?!

'Shot' this guy in my local cinema, no tripod, did a slight perspective correction so we seem like we are behind him, adjusted in curves.

Shooting this without tripod gave it a pleasantly blurry appearance (I don't think I've used the words "pleasant" and "blurry" in the same sentence before ;-). It's also a clever way to frame this, with one vacant video game screen on the left, and the playing guy in front of the screen on the right. Well done, Bryan. I guess the motion blur and the bald guy might also have made this one a candidate for the April scavenger hunt on TE.

The bifurcated composition is simply great. I think a slight fill-in falsh would have worked wonders in sharpening up the guy a bit as an additional contrast ot the blurry screens. Anyways, its a fine, action-packed shot as it stands!

Very clever photo. I like the fact that it is divided into two frames, with action in the one and 'wait' in the other. The movement of the guy is also very good. Great photo, and an interesting social commentary. Very well done!

Because your image is split directly in half, we compare the two halves and find the whole photo engaging as we wonder both what we are looking at and what the man is diong.

a great idea and a great composition, Bryan. very well captured. There is no cahnce that he will notice you when he so inside the game. ver well done.

Epedemic? Then how do you call TE? TL?

Anyway, I like the motion blur here. Very well shown. The two pictures look like one. (Or is it one?)

Yes it is one.:)

This is a great shot. Really.

I like the fact the guy's haircut is almsot bald similar to a prisoner. Somebody mentioned "minority report" for the aesthetic, I think it's closer to the Cube for the idea : getting addicted and prisoner to something you don't even understand.

May be the one I like the best from this site.
This si simply beautiful.
The motion, the colors..
