[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
As the snow begins to clear in my garden I noticed the first signs of spring with a bunch of snowdrops.

Using Paint Shop Pro X2
Isolated the flower.
Made a blackground.
Resized for TL.
Added a border.

Hi Derek, hope it happens soon in our part of the world,it would be nice to spot some decent colour. I like the details
& the tight crop which gives more vitality to the image.

Perfect capture. Crisp, sharp, clean, clear. Good colours, excellent exposure of the white - no loss of detail at all. Nice lead-in of the stem from the lower left.

F/51 is quite an impressively small aperture!

beautiful shot i find this flower had to capture well.

hi derek,
very impressive. excellent macro.
the sharpness and depth of colour is outstanding.
the details are a joy to look at.

i spotted a load in a small patch of woodland near me. i wish i had stopped to take a few snaps. they wouldn't have been this good, though.

You have done a masterful job of capturing this snowdrop.
Very clear and crisp with good white balance.
My compliments.

Darn-I have just run out of smileys.

Hi Derek,

Amazing macro I had noticed some snowdrops peeking out when walking up to Lindean Loch but I am really glad I've kept the shots to myself. The quality of this shot is brilliant the colours are beautiful and details so sharp they could cut you. Well done.

Regards
Jon
