This is "Silver Harvest", one of the most modern of the fishing boats on Aldeburgh beach.

A large amount of equipment is on show here, on the shingle in front of the vessel are the nets, crab and lobster pots, and their associated ropes and buoys with their colourful flags.

To the right of the picture are the large pieces of blue plastic which are laid out on the beach as a launching track, and behind the boat is the bulldozer which provides the power for launching and retrieval.

All the fishing equipment - looks like he is cleaning out the boat and checking that his equipment is all up to scratch and ready for use
Well done Peter

Hello, Peter.

A very fine clear and sharp picture with lots and lots of detailed equipment around that lovely bright blue boat.

The composition is excellent. The boat is perectly placed in the picture, the eye focuses on that first and then flits to the yellow floats to the left, then all over the foreground, gleaning information about the various pieces of equipment, finally moving out of the triangle at bottom left to look at the bulldozer and the houses beyond.

Actually, I could tell before I read the exif data that this had been taken with your Canon - the colours are always very strong yet pleasing from that camera - sometimes I feel that the Fuji pictures have a slightly greenish hue.

Excellent!

Best Wishes,

John.

hi PETER
i realy like this shot it is very real with nothing left out good use of the things on the ground round the main subject
regards bryan

Hello Peter, this is perfect for the theme, you couldn't ask for more equipment!
The fisherman certainly has plenty of space to spread everything out. What an array of objects.
A good shot with sharp focus throughout.
Good colours too, that red flag keeps bringing my eyes to the centre of the picture.
Tfs, regards Jean.

Hi Peter
A lot of equipment, I think the only thing missing are the safety vests or jackets.
Excellent shot getting all this gear into the frame, must have taken several tries to get it all in focus and so sharp.
