[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Taken yesterday, whilst visiting family. In a remote part of the countryside near Lauder.

Would love to know what the structure was, think it was a tower of sorts.

Still has stairs inside and you can climb to the top.

Converted to B&W using Nik Silver Efex

Hi Peter,

This is definitely a good choice for black and white, with the trees, stonework and sky brought out in lovely detail. The Nik software is brilliant it has so many features.

Douglas

Very nice work Peter! Your program makes the stonework pop here! Nice details, even the grass is extremely detailed. I love that moody dark sky! I'll bet this is just as stunning in color!

The image suits the black & white interpretation. Like the composition and the PP. Nice one.

Hi Peter,

Great shot the b&w effect gives the photo and ancient feel to it even the tree looks as if it has been there for ages. The shades and tones created are excellent good sharp detail well done.

Jon
