[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Taken the same day as the rainbow shot, during a lull in the weather at St Marys Loch.

This view is about 16 miles from where I live in Selkirk and I never tire of it.

Its a superb place for landscapes (not that I've ever done it justice) especially when you get a good light.

If your ever in the area it certainly won't disappoint you.

Image given a slight tweek in Viveza

Hi,
Nicely done. Very natural colour with a well exposed sky. Always better down there I think when there's a wee bit weather rather than a clear sky as long as there's not too much wind. Makes for better reflections on the loch. Good time of the year too, stll a lot of shades of brown about. Thanks,
Dougie.

nice pov on this one Peter you have captured the view vey well and the sky is grt good one
regards bryan

hi peter.
a nice rendering of this beautiful loch. once the summer comes it will be even more beautiful, i expect?

we stopped at the loch when we had the tl trek but the weather made it uncomfortable to shoot. you are lucky to live near such a wonderful loch.

Hi Peter,

Well I think you have done it justice now imo this is a great shot looking down the loch towards Selkirk. The colours are brilliant the sky is magical and details as usual very sharp well done.

Jon

Hello Peter,
Wonderful view over this beautiful landscape.
Very nice colors and lighting.
Very good composition too.

TFS and greetings from Netherlands,
Adri

Nice landscape - good balance, detail in the sky, the eye's led into the picture by the river flowing into the loch. LHS tree is well placed. Some nice variation of light and shade in the background. Well done.

Hi Peter,
a very poetic view of this wonderful place; the quality you've delivered here is amazing, the image is bright, very clear and there're lots of details well visible everywhere. Compo is stunning with the tree on the left to balance and filling the frame; the right side of the picture have captured an amazing light and the effect that has been created is wonderfully 3D. Beautiful shot indeed, I like it a lot!
Thanks for sharing and regards,

Ele
