I spend a small fortune on bird seed just to keep the blighter healthy.
You would thing they would respond by letting me take the occasional snap.
But no chance another hour today with the window open and I'm lucky if I get half a dozen shots.
None of the the Gold finches or Green finches, but they Chaffinch will chance the open window with the lens pointing out of it.
At least the rarer finches have decided to visit the Garden again and one day I hope to have the photographic evidence.
So here it is one of the dozen or so Chaffinches that visit daily.

Hi Peter,
Brilliant snapshot of the chaffinch they are lovely birds and I get loads in my garden to but they don't allow me to take shots. Great blurring of the bg brilliant colours and details well done.

Well I like this shot, nice motion blur from the wings, but good detail in the body.
