Hi Jon - brings back memories - I once sailed through the Caley Canal, must be about 20 years ago, which is scary!

Well composed with the foreground bushes adding depth and perspective. Nice colours and a lovely clear sky - nowhere more beautiful than Scotland when the weather is like this. Very typical Scottish West Coast scenery and a pleasure to see on TL. Nice saturation and sharpness.

WOW Jon, this shot shows exactly what Scotland has to offer in terms of beautiful relaxing scenery. The dof is excellent and the detail in the hills are great although imo more contrast could be applied to them also the plants on the left hand side are a little over exposed.

This has to be one of the most naturally coloured uploads i've seen for a long time Jon.

There's no sign of exaggerated saturation.
The reflections and dappled light on the water is perfect, almost lifelike, without a shred of over exposure in the highlights.

The sky is so clear too. Totally haze free. Not often we get a chance to such clear crisp skies in the UK especially at such an early hour. (Not sure if a Treklens time stamp has changed anything, but looking at the metadata, I'm assuming 09:58 BST)

I'm surprised the depth given the aperture, unless the camera was set to landscape mode?
