[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Dear TL members, today I thought to give an older picture. Personally, I like very much.
This picture I made during a visit that I made it in London.


London is the capital of England and the United Kingdom, United Kingdom. The city lies on the Thames in southeastern England on the island of Great Britain.

The current administrative area of the district was created on 1 April 1965 with the creation of Greater London. In the administrative area of Greater London has 7,512,400 people (2006), including 2,972,900 in the 13 boroughs of inner London.
London is the most populous city in the European Union. The urban area has 8,278,251 inhabitants (2001London extends about 45 kilometers along the navigable river Thames and is an average of 15 meters above sea level. London arose from a settlement on the northern shore, the current City of London. The London Bridge to 1739 was the only bridge on the River.

London is one of the most important cultural, financial and trade centers of the world (world city). In the city there are numerous universities, colleges, theaters and museums. The metropolitan area of Greater London, the Inner and Outer London is sub-divided into the City of London and a further total of 33 districts ( "London boroughs"), including the City of Westminster.

For this reason, there is the larger part of the city north of the River. With the construction of other bridges in the 18th Century and the construction of railways in the 19th Century began, the city in all directions to expand. The landscape is flat to slightly wavy, allowing the unimpeded growth was facilitated .. In the Metropolitan Area in 2001 lived about fourteen million people.

Piccadilly Circus is a famous road junction and a public square in London's West End. It was completed in 1819, the Regent Street to Piccadilly to connect. In the architectural sense, a "circus" means a circular public space at a street intersection, or a kind of roundabout, but without a built means island. Already since 1886, the Piccadilly Circus but no longer recognize as such. Today, he combines the Shaftesbury Avenue, the Haymarket, Coventry Street (in the direction of Leicester Square), Lower Regent Street and Regent Street, Piccadilly, and a small side street, the Glasshouse Street. The Circus is located near numerous shopping and entertainment areas. The fact that he is a crossroads of some of the main streets of London, makes him a lively meeting place.

Great city shot, with the energy of its glowing night look. Interestingly, I often ignore such gaudy commerical displays in person, but find it intriguing to study the details in this image...such as the tilted tiles in the Coca-Cola ad:) Good composition and clarity. Well done!
