Hello everyone, today a view of the railway bridge that crosses the River Lynher close to Forder village, on the outskirts of Saltash.
The river is tidal, hence the low water. It is a tributary of the River Tamar.

We parked the car in Forder and walked a short distance alongside the river so as to get this view. The river banks were rather muddy at this point, so we were unable to go any further.

I liked the way that each arch framed a part of the landscape to make its own little picture.

Thanks for looking as always.

PP:rotated,cropped, added a little saturation,adjusted midtone levels,applied unsharp mask,added borders and resized.

Hello Jean,

The soft light has favoured this shot as it gives a gently muted, almost delicate refection in the rippling water.
Once the eyes have played with the lovely feature of the bridge, then it is time to notice the framed buildings and trees, in the b/g. It's almost like looking through binoculars!

Have a good day, my friend,
Bev :-)

Hello Jean,
The bridge's top is leveled (something I fail to check on my own photos sometimes), the arches are the architectural highlights. The semi-cloudy conditions helped in bringing out definitions to the water reflection and the lovely view of the homes and trees ahead. Well done and best regards...
Danilo

Hi Jean,
A wonderful landscape seen through lovely arches!
A nice POV with a fabulous reflection on the water.
A superb crop and a fantastic symmetry!
Good lighting and focusing.
Well done,

Francis Xavier

Nicely captured - the repeated patterns of the viaduct arches and its reflections on the water are well delivered here, beautifully level across the frame with credit to you for some good post-work.

I like everything about this, the old bridge, the scenery, the architecture....but on top of that it's also an excellent picture. Nice reflection and composition. TFS

Hi Jean
Very well seen. It's a shame that the water wasn't calmer but I agree that each arch is a frame in itself. Nicely exposed with ample DOF.

I love this beautiful landscape with beautiful
arches framing the scenery!
The scene is well framed with pin sharp details,
the angle of soft light adds a touch to the 3D structures!
i like the reflection.
