[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Another wet and miserable event in UK.

Despite the weather, the display pilots endeavoured to put on a show for the thousands of people who braved the elements.

Here, an F15 punches through the rain drenched skies of Fairford and forces further condensing over the leading edges of the wings and wing tips.

Not perturbed by the weather, my brother and I sat under what little shelter we could find and payed our respects to the participants by continuing to shoot whatever we could.

I like this one for a couple of reasons:
The totally greyed out sky shows how effective the camouflage is on the F15, and i also like the blueness of the vapourized water streaming over the wings.


Nothing to do to the image itself as far as any enhancements go due to the neutral colours/tones.

Camera set to "Sports mode" and jpg format.
Weather was impossible so misery and laziness had me set the camera to auto-mode virtually all day

Slightly cropped, resized and USM in photoshop for upload.

wow martin, the picture of urs touches my heart, Excellent job done, i think thats an impossible job to capture a flying bird in such a weather......Excelent job Done..waiting to c more photos of these birds.

Very good picture of this F-15. Altough it could ben a tad sharper. Overall it`s a very good picture. Pity that the sky has the grey colours otherwise the airflows on top of the wings were more clear.
