[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This shot was taken in London in February 2007.

I was “flying the Eye” – riding on that big Ferris Wheel of London, the London Eye.
It was dusk and as the sky got darker the city showed itself in many colours and lights.
My eyes were caught by the architectural variety. Do you see St.Paul’s Cathedral hiding in the upper right part of this image?

During PP I reduced brightness, sharpened and reduced noise, I enhanced contrasts slightly all in order to reduce the effect of the capsule I was sitting in while taking this shot.

Hallo Britta, da bekomme ich ja wieder Sehnsucht nach London. Eine Nachtaufnahme, die mir sehr zusagt.Du hast auf jeden Fall einen sehr guten Standort für dieses Bild gewählt.

HAllo Britta,
St. Pauls hätte ich glatt übersehen. Hübsch häßlich was man da teilweise alles drumherum gestellt hat.
Die berühmtesten Architekten der Gegenwart kommen aus UK und in der Hauptstadt siehts aus, alls hätte es einen Wettbewerb gegeben: 'holt die häßlichsten Klötze der letzten 80 Jahre an die Themse'
Boaaah!!! Sieht aus wie ein Mix aus Neckarufer Nord, BASF Verwaltung und Containerhafen, gleich hier um die Ecke. I am not amused. Trotzdem gutes Bild mit vielen interessanten Details.
