A rain drop about to fall from a leaf in the garden.
The building in the background is a large disused and boarded up old hostel for the homeless,7 storeys high.
I tried various angles to get its reflection in the rain drop.

I seem to have an idea that I may have seen this somewhere before Andy, maybe TE?
Anyway I think it is great, the detail is absolutley stunning, the water drop has a clear reflection of a building in it, and the cobwebs running on the stem,...well...just excellent.
A great composition with incredible results, thanks Andy, and have a great weekend!

One of my favorite subjects..Rain drop reflections. This is a good one with clear reflection. Good results for a difficult shot....

What a great macro. Colors are good and the DOF, well-controlled.

It is raining very frequently here. Maybe I can find similar subjects.
