[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Good Morning Everyone,

My shot today shows the view from Easdale Tarn in The Lake District. This is the view down the valley as we were descending from the tarn.

It was a beautiful day, my husband and I met fellow photographer (Feather from TE) and her husband, at Grasmere.

We were recommended the walk to Easdale by the cafe owner, who promised to send out a search party if we had not returned within four hours! She needn't have worried. The path was clearly marked and the views were worth the effort of the climb.

Thank you for stopping by.
Please feel free to offer feedback on any aspect of the photograph. Bev :-)

Hello Beverley! Nice landscape, very nice picture. Good exposure. Splendid effect. Well done!

An amazingly beautiful landscape capture from your homeland MF Bev.
I like especially your upside-down POV here. Great!
TFS and have a nice Sunday MF!
Cheers,

Bayram

Hi Bev,
An awesome view, excellent composition really an amazing place in England. The colours look a bit dull though it is if there is a kind of haze over the image, so I made a WS to brighten the picture a bit. Nonetheless a fine posting Bev!

Hi Bev,
What a wonderful landscape of this famous Lake District. This a wonderful postcard!
Great composition with lovely green tones!
The rubble wall in the FG is giving a rural aspect to this lovely landscape.
Nice misty BG!
Very neatly presented!

Hi Bev,

A lovely shot of a beautiful area, I also have a D200 and if anything it tended to slightly underexpose to save the highlights. But your image seems to be slightly overexposed, which is strange, with the polarizer it would usually deepen the colours. Please take this as being constructive, because the D200 is a superb camera, it may be a little compensation has been dialed in, it is easy to forget, their are so many settings on dslr's. That's what Hans has ajusted in the workshop. You would also find a set of nd fiters would really hold back and deepen the sky. If you take this image and give it a slight contrast tweak then in levels use the centre slider and slide a little to the left to darken down the midtones you will see what i mean. I dropped my poor D200 in a river on Skye a few month ago and am still waiting to get it back from the repairers.

Excellent country takes, color, depth, composition and editing, congratulations, hugs.

Hello Beverley

The Lake District looks delightful. Good lead in lines are provided by the path. Excelelnt sharpness & framing. Not quite as wild as somes parts of the US or Australia, but getting close! It reminds me of the Garden of the Gods Park in Colorado. Tfs!

Bonsoir Beverley
This stoned path bordered with stone walls as something which invite you to follow it till you reach the enchanting place it promises to you.
Very good pov and a peaceful landscape that your shot shows well.I should have liked the background a little darker; if I can do it without darkening the foreground , I try a ws.
Have a nice new week,Beverley.Best regards
Henri
