There are situations when we take photos that we wind up with more that we wanted or cannot be avoided but fortunately our graphics editors help out.
If you could select the horse and its rider then do a reverse selection to blur the distracting background, I think you would get good results.
You certainly deserve A for effort, that horse seemed to have a sense of humour that you captured well.
