A good idea of your friend. The sharpness is perfect and the color are wonderful. The cropping is maybe too short at the left.

Beautiful picture Peter, love it. Very nice, contrasts are amazing! Very well done.
Best regards
Guy

I am glad to see that picture back,Peter! Thank you for posting it again! This is a very beautiful one with its color contrast and amazing light! Great shot! Michel

Great shot, Peter! I remember this one so well, one of my favorites! Lovely composition and gorgeous light. I'm so glad you are reposting it! TFS!

Great to see that you are reposting some of your best ones, Peter. And this certainly fell into that category. The sky is absolutely stunning which makes the house almost look 3rd dimensional. Well done and I hope you are feeling better!

The white house still in the sun and dark sky in the background. Nothing is placed following the rules in art and photography (g. selection). The photo must be strong to break this rule. But this photo is strong and breaks the rule

Great contrast between that big white house and overload sky! It very nice! I like the sharp details too!

Nice to see this great photo returned. As before I admire this one a lot. Everything is so professional. I like the mood created by the lighting conditions of the day. Lovely Peter.

Very nice Peter. That sky looks daunting and gives a great effect enhancing the building. Great composition also. Nice capture.

I thought I'd seen this beauty before. All I can say is, if they ever do a book of TL photos, this one goes on the cover. That's all. And the composition is extraordinary, simply a grand shot, Peter.

Great photo and compostion, the POV of is just perfect.

Jos

Always did like this shot Peter, the angry sky contrasting with pure white house makes it. Perfect POV. TF resharing. Paul.

Yeaaaaa! Thank you Peter. Your photos are awesome and so glad to see one of my favorates back on here...I am a great fan of yours, so please keep posting.....:O)

Happy to see this one again and always the same pleasure for the light, the strait lines and the empty space giving to this well placed house a great value.
Beautiful.
Jean Michel

What a peaceful place. The dark sky contrasting with the white house is great. The sky looks quite ominous. Well captured.

The contrast between the white walls and the black of the trim of the house against the dark threatening sky sets a moody, disquieting atmosphere. Great shot, Peter.

I allready gave you good critique when you posted this photo in the first place. Now I give you just smiley.

Thanks for the critique. I appreiciate it. I like this photo. Nice contrast between the dark sky and the white of the house. Very simplistic. Looks likr s bad storm. Nice atmosphere,

Wow, absolutely superb composition and I like the contrast of the moody dark sky and the white house. Is there a sea nearby by any chance? where was it photographed?
TFS,
Shelly.

Very nice Peter!
The house contrasts very well with the 'gloomy' sky.
Very well done :)

Hi Peter.
Couldn't find your "church-interior". You probably never posted it.
Looking for it, I saw this dramatic shot.
I like the way the house is reflecting against the dark and threatening sky.
I'm glad I found it.
Groet,
Joop.

What a stunning contrast, The compostion is simple but very effective in this case. the bed and breakfast is very vivid especially against those storm clouds. Did you need to do any P.P. work to bring out the colours in this shot ?

What a gorgeous structure, I love the way the white stands out against the stormy sky! What's even better yet is how the white is outlined not only by the blue sky, but also with the black trimmings around the building. Really great job on a still focus, I think this is a lovely photo.

This place must cost an arm and a leg!

Biance.

hellopeter,
i didn't see this before but it was one of three pictures on your intro page. I am pleased it was there as it is excellent. Lovely white house against an inky storm sky and you have filled the frame withe that sky. A good choice. But you have intriqued me now as I am wondering what your copious notes were all about!
Bev

really great sky and contrast here! excellent sharpnes also; TFS,
V.

Perfect work Peter!

Hi peter,

Very nice 'before-storm' photo. I like this lighting of sky before storm very much. Also you've selected a good angle for showing darkness of sky and also ray of light of other side.
