[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Taken at Bolton Abbey in Yorkshire. I set this shot up with Magda acting as my model. The bridge lent itself to this. I wanted to create an almost japanese feel. The effect is enhanced by the red jacket Magda has tied around her waist. Red always draws the eye and here it strengthened the feeling and perspective.

I agree, the background looks very dark, almost underexposed, but I guess it's effective as it is, because this way it does not distract from the main thing here - the bridge and Magda crossing it.

I can feel the japanese feel alright...to me, it's partly due to the bridge and especially of the red colours and trees in the background.

A marvellous perspective. Magda makes this scene a classic for her human touch to the photo. Well done!

Nice POV. I too like scenes of people taking off by the road ..lends a feeling of suspense. Magda with her bright red outfit makes and excellent contrast to the green in the background. The lines of the bridge lend a good graphic feel. TFS

strong compostion with great shapes and lines and the red drawing the eye to the figure, as you have pointed out ...also like the the dominant horizontal lines of the bridge in the foreground...

Wonderful colors, great lighting and so fine exposed shot. Well done!
