[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
During a wonderful drive (thanks Paul)in the wilds of the Scottish Borders came upon this scene. It is an old tumbled down dry stane dyke (for non scots this is a dry stone wall). But the weather was so good, especially for September I thought the wall merited a shot. So here it is along with decent clouds for a change.

nice one peter, i like the sky and the overall simplicity of the pic....congrats...martha

Very sharp and colourful shot Peter. You are right about the clouds, they enhance the overall scene. TFS, Paul.

Hi Peter,

Excellent capture and well composed. The clouds add to the image.
I wonder if you could have done a perspective shot of the wall.?

Mike

Hello Peter, this is a pretty location. I like the faded grassy area looks nice. The comostion is good with the clouds.

Hi Peter,
Yep, that's a dry dyke. A nice shot. The composition is nice with the shallow foreground that stresses the big puffy clouds. Well seen.
Richard

Nice shot, Peter! Great puffy clouds, and the leaning weeds at the bottom gives a sense of wind. A bit of overexposure on the cloud that could be fixed easily, but other than that, very nice picture!

hello Peter, the composition is pleasant and to have given importance to the sky is well. The colors and the luminosity are impeccable.
Beautiful work.
JP

Well, really gorgeous light in this one, Peter, and the fluffy clouds are just stunning. The colours and composition are great. Well done!

Beautiful picture Peter, a fantastic sky. I like it a lot.
Best regards
Guy
