| another macro shot. I was thinking of cloning out the petals of the second flower at the edge of the photo, so that you are not distracted from the main flower, but on the other hand I'm a big fan of the Japanese technique of having partial elements to make you realize there are things outside the frame. |

It is a beautiful flower macro, well composed, very soft (here it works well) and with a very attractive background blur. I'd increase brightness just a tiny bit.

Hi Tom,
The beauty of nature well captured... again! This is a proof macros don't have to be pin sharp to catch interest, sometimes softness is more fitting for the subject. Maybe I'd rather see this one without the petals from the one upper left, even if I can see the point you describe -

j'apprécie beaucoup cette photo! D'abord parce que la marco est parfaitement reussie! tu maitrises un bonne mise au point et tu captures de belles couleurs vives ... et pourtant bien tendres! L'arriere-plan est parfaitement adapté!
Un joli travail, donc .. un haut et fort Bravo!
