[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I took this years ago and just simply liked the structure of the net...

It was scanned from a print, and I did my best, but at some parts you can see that it has lost some detail...

Yes, it reminded me of Sad Nets by Neruda ...

Good shot Frank. I like the natural colors.

ComplimentS!

I would be murdered if I took such shots on film. :D Even now my family has no clue why I take pictures of tubes, wires windows, of some XYZ's house...
Back to the picture, I like all the varying lines and patterns criss crosses with a more prominent diagnol.
Cheers

nice structure that's right, but something is mising! maybe a fish!

Hello Frank,
A good composition with interesting lines! The main diagonal broken by the minor lines in all directions add dynamics and the bleached colour of your main subject is an interesting contrast to the newer net in background -
Regards,
Pablo

Nice almost abstract composition. The lines are taken with care. Well done

Hi Frank, a very interesting lot of textures and shapes. It may be scanned, but I'm sure the original nets won't be in as good a condition as the photo is. That is, if they are still in use 14 years later! What stories they could tell.
Good shot, as LuciG says, "Intéressante et différente!" Well done.

Great close up of the fishing nets. The texture details are good. Well done.

awesome shot, love the colours. the fishing nets, really do look used. they're yellow-brownish and crusty. i love the way, they're contrasted, with other newer nets, of different colours.

good shot!

Nice bowing nets; I like structures; these nets have surely structure; your compo confirms this. On a distance the view has some sweep in it.
Thanks Frank
Huub
