Today Selkirk hosted the annual Vintage car show. There were almost 2000 entries from all over Britain. The light as usual was not very good but I spotted a 1951 chevrolet pannelvan. I have a full view of the car, but I thought the front grill was really pleasing. I'm sorry that my reflection is in the shot but I hope it isn't to distracting :-)

A very nice one Peter, a very good point of view. I like it a lot.
Have a nice Sunday!
Guy

Very good shot Peter and well spotted. The shape of the grille makes the shot. Well composed. TFS, Paul.

Peter,
That chrome looks really nice here! No your reflection gives some character to display the reflectiveness distortion that chrome gives. So I like your reflection in here. I see your getting better at adding borders/frames to your shots...Very nice. I would of liked to see the grill a little more symetrical but I like it nonetheless. Great shot Peter.

Wonderful shot of a classic car detail, very sharp and well composed. Your reflection is not distracting at all, well done!

Hello Peter.
Nice, really nice.
Light and reflections, the red of Chevy, all is perfect!
Bravo!
Claude

Hi Peter,
Nice shot. It's got good symmetry. And your exposure and colors check out, too. It's kind of interesting how your reflection turned out in the chrome...distorted the way it is. Oh yeah, nice frame, the colors flow real nice. Good work.

Nice one Peter - bright, colourful, sharp and a great composition. The cloudy sky was probably to your advantage in this case. Your reflection adds some colour variations on that shiny grill. Nicely done, and TFS, Sam...

Hi Peter,

Interesting that the american cars fit on the tiny roads of the U.K.
Last time I was in the U.K. I saw a TransAm, I couldn't believe it could get around.LOL

Excellent shot and well done on the composition and details. Beautiful shot.

Mike
