I think it is a kind of a sport to make the most photoes of mating insects these days ;o).
But a very nice capture, Andy. Very sharp and excellent detail.
Usually, when I see a fly I try to hit it. Annoying little buggers!

I hope you got the fly swat and swatted these two! After you got the photo, of course! Annoying insects, but an interesting lesson in contortionism. I didn't know that was possible and I made straight A's in Zoology!

A little too intimate if you ask me. Seeing those ugly creatures going at it gives me the creep. I hope they both get VD. Great close-up. How did you manage to get that shot? You got a hotel for these kind of things? Very good colors and good DOF on the ??female??.
