I was at my parents house this morning and was in the garden trying to get some butterfly shots in the privet hedge.I glanced down and saw this little guy in the bottom of the hedge,he was about 2.5 cm long.

Andy, this is excellent. The toad has been captured well, and it's nice to see it in an 'action pose' rather than sitting. The detail of the skin is great, especially against the green leaves.

Good work, yet again.

We never know when that perfect opportunity will present itself for a great photo. Glad you were "at the ready" for this one. He reminds me of the post I did on June 27th of my little "pet" Tommy Toes Toad that greets me each morning on the back patio. Great capture, Andy.

Who wants to kiss the prince? Yuk.
These creatures are fascinating by their skin texture. It's waterproof, flexible, covered with dimples and very cold to the touch.
