[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
On a recent trip to the Bridlington on the east coast I found a quiet spot behind some beach huts where a large amount of Gulls seemed to be settled I sat there for a while shooting a few pictures and here is my second submission from those shots. I was especially happy with the detail in this picture around the wings and the lack of flare I got thanks to the new lens cover I recently purchased. I used no filters on this image I was simply lucky to have a day with clear blue skies and the post processing is minimal slight cropping and framing no colour adjustments

Enjoy and check out my other work

olá Ben!
a perspectiva está excelenta!a gaivota prrenche toda a foto no entanto o céu também tem aqui um papel importante.as cores estão óptimas.
Bom trabalho!
Luci.

Very close! I know how it's hard to catch them in fligh and close...
I did i little serie of two shot with seagulls one is a shooting montage.. Other is another of extreme close up :o) It could be a good idea for the weekend..

I enjoy the details and a good frame too! Great one!

Very nice aerial shot of the gull. I could get very successful on my sigma 18-200 of flying birds so this is a good shot.

Framing is good too.

nicely captured, its hard to take such a nice shot of a seagull when its flapping away..but youve done so beautifully....TFS..martha

Hello Ben,

I like the contrast in colors of the gull on a blue sky. Excelent shots.
Luc

WOW! Perfect shot, nice and precisely.

splendide gull!!
difficult for good shot!
bravo!
bye....tanbinh.

Ben, your composition is excellent and you may have been lucky with the blue sky, but there is no element of luck in your shot: it's skilfully managed and your exposure is spot on.

Very Well Done!

Shelly:)

great capture. Spot on.

It's a very nice photograph Ben. Usually i neither like square format nor frames, but this result is just perfect !
