[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
LIFE.

I should first tell you that I’m not a mystic person and only believe in reality.
I respect everybody’s view and you’ll all have your own, just sharing mine here.

Circles, ties, scarred background…
This photograph evokes the metaphor for life.
You have the circle, example; I took my granddaughter to a place where I had taken my boys and my parents had taken me.
We are surrounded by circles, sun, moon; we LIVE on a ‘circle’
Lots of things come in cycles.
There are bonds that always remain, metal on metal, you cannot divorce a child, it’s ALWAYS a part of you. Same the other way round.
You have the ropes= attachment, friendships, ties with your chosen partner, it is beautifully tight.
The other rope, to me represents the freedom to remain you, free and individual.
Lighter and darker areas, scars underneath, I’m sure that will echo for most of you…
BUT, THE SUN MAKES THE METAL SHINING, THE ROPES ARE COLOURFUL.
LIFE IS GOOD.
Magda (*_*)

PS: this is my very personal philosophical interpretation, because I am so happy.

I wouldnt have got the metaphor unless someone explained it to me. :) Its a beautiful picture, good light, textures, shapes and shadows as well. The interpretation is fantastic. I would have easily passed off such a photo opportunity. This is really great work, TFS

Dit gaat alleen in mijn moers taal:
Geweldige belijdenis Marga, mooi verbeeld en uit het hart. Dat je gelukkig bent toon je goed.
De eerste zin bracht bij mij wat verwarring:
/I should first tell you that I’m not a mystic person and only believe in reality./
Je gelooft niet slechts in realiteit of juist wel? De vermeende samentrekking van 'not' begrijp ik niet.
Fijn je zo te laten zien hier.
Dank je wel
Huub

A wonderful image and an equally beautifully written note.

Very beautiful composition. Symbolism is a personal question. Here I like the texture and sharpness of each element. Is an splendid shot mystic? Why not? :)

Hello Magda, your photo represents really well your philosophical note. Also, I love the colours and the textures. Textures are an important part for me everywhere.

Great composition and close-up.

Have a grea day, Yan

Textures, tones and elements in tigh control: knowing what to do to each one. The didatism of your work is amazing. Thank you.

Your image is as dynamic as your note. Very good metaphor and it reflects the circle of life perfectly. Very nice composition with great lighting.

:-) Well said, and well executed shot. If I go on anymore, I will sound blustery.

Excellent sharpness and great details. Well capture, Magda. :D

Very arty and very meaningful note

Indeed one canmake several distincs interpretations of such image. that's what makes it strong and symbolic.
Well done Magda. I also believe that even with all the additions one makes during life (light and shadows), instead of leaving pieces behind, ones just increase the diameter of the circle.

take care, Stef :))

lovely interpretation and beautifully illustrated by your photo...harsh, yet delicate...just like life...
