[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This scene made me think of the old proverb "A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush". only in this case the young man has "2 in the hand". It was taken on a very grey and damp late afternoon with very poor lighting. So I used pp work to darken it some more and colour the sky to give a contrast colour for the shapes. It is pretty grainy, so I used Neat Image to try and smooth it out a bit. I really tried to rescue it because I liked the composition.

Bonjour Joan,
Ombres chinoises, silhouettes mystérieuses se découpant sur un ciel onirique.
Très beau travail.
Amitiés.
Philippe

Hi Joan,

You did well to turn it into a silhoutte. Excellent work.

Mike

I'm not too fond of that evenly-coloured, surreal sky, Joan. But I do like the silhouette of the falconer and his birds of prey. I always enjoy watching shows like this, especially when they make the birds fly so low their wings tap your head ;o). It seems like a beautiful surrounding too.
TFS.
