This spot is a couple of hundred yards from the cottage we had on Arran. Almost every evening we had a beautiful sunset. I did my best to capture one. This is completely natural, no tweeking.

Peter

What a wonderful sunset but without the swan it would have been just a wonderful sunset. Teriffic muted colours. TFS, Paul.

Amazing shot! nice work done! good timing,, I like it. Regards.José

Hi Peter,

Beautiful capture and the swan ads to your shot. Excellent composition.

Mike

love the drama, well done, (*_*)

Beautiful sunset. The swan really adds character to the scene. Great colours and composition Peter. Very nicely done, as usual. Looks like a nice relaxing place to visit. Is this the place where arran jumpers are knitted?

Excellent timing Peter. Some photos are best left alone and this is one of those. Nice sharp shot.TFS,
David

Peter, this is a stunningly beautiful photo! Colours, skyline, colour of the sea... magnificent. The bird is a nice plus. Awesome. TFS, TFS² (truly fantastic shot).

Beautiful sunset picture, Peter. The horizon is a bit centered but it seems to work here as one half is water and the other is the sky. Nice touch with the bird on the left. Arran is a beautiful island (I visited it 15 years ago) and I hope you will show us more images from the island. Well done!

Thank your lucky stars for that swan. Without that this would unfortunatley have been another typical boring sunset shot in spite of your bright memories. But this way it passes and becomes a lovely image of tranquility. And the bird cruising towards the sunbeam on the water is perfect.

Hello Peter. Very pretty sky and the clouds impose their mass on the ground. Beautiful colors also, a small gilded tone which gives heat to the unit. Beautiful work. jp

Really sweet composition Peter. Great lighting effects and the swan makes it all work well. Quite beautiful out there on the West Coast. The dark cloud and the bright sky . . . terrific.

Dramatic scene here, Peter.
Good, you kept the kelp in the water in the foreground and managed to present the wonderfull sky with it.
Impressive.
Groet,
Joop.

A very nice one Peter, a beautiful subject, very well done!

Excellent, appealing lighting here Peter. Great textures in the photo too from the sky and water.

Excellent sunset photo Peter!
The colours, the simple frame and of course the small but wonderful and necessary detail: the swan. Everything is perfect!
Congratulations for your breathtaking photo! :))
