Last day of the holiday and the strangest. Within two hours we had every weather possible. There was snow, sleet, rain, hail and sun. This was just before the rain arrived.

Hi Peter,
You capture the threatening atmosphere very well here! I can almost hear the wind... Great composition, beautiful side lighting brings life to the house and the surfs... very well done!
Regards,
Pablo -

Looks like a place for some solitude Peter. Wild yet beautiful. Nice compo plus the angry clouds. Like it, TFS, Paul.

Oh yes Peter.. I like what I see here; To me your the
landscape artist in here . So tipical North England / Scotland. Is it a loch and if so.. wich one ? TFS
Greetings from Holland , John

Beautiful scene Peter. The lighting on the house is stunning. Good composition and colours. The sky is dramatic.

Excellent mood in this picture. Great view the dark clouds are coming but still sunlight on the "waves" and the white house. Good job.

Best regards,

Don

Hi Peter,
I recognized this as your work right away upon the glance of the thumbnail.
It's been a while since I have visited your work or given critiques.
Anyway, very beautiful picture with nice layers from foreground to the water and then the mountains/sky. Wonderful lighting making this scene just glow with mood and detail.
I'm not sure if I would like to see the house a little more in frame and not cut-off, but this is an opinion and an unsure one at that.
Great catch of this light display upon nature.

Hi Peter,

Excellent view, beautiful capture and well done on the composition.

Mike

How's the Rescue one coming along.?

Your usual great capture of the sense of weather & light of Scotland, Peter. I am a bit with Michael thinking that maybe the house should have all in or half out as it is it look a bit edgy. Otherwise the colours, the lights and the rest of the composition are great. Well done!

Reading your note, that's what they call a lovely day in Scotland! Great composition, I like how the house bleeds over the edge. The light is amazing. I'm sure the downsizing took away some sharpness; would love to see this one full size. Excellent job!

Sun has a special warmth and quality in your pictures Peter and this one is no exception. Against the backdrop of looming clouds a glimpse of sunrays is the most gratiating of all sights. You have captured that precious mood quite well here. Thanks

Great shot Peter, lovely stormy colours and good light.
Good work.
Thanks for sharing.
Michael.

Wonderful light Peter which shows the house up nicely against that grey background, lovely rough waters and beautiful misty hills, TFS

A beautiful photograph and well composed. This picture conveys the feeling of an impending storm, moody but not depressing. The muted colours also add to the feeling. I have only one criticism, and it is a personal one. The frame adds absolutely nothing to this fine photograph; if anything it detracts.

Havenßt found time to comment on this, Peter, but I simply must. Especially since it is my favourite kind of setting: Sunshine up front on any subject in sigt, and a dark menacing sky at the back announcing the end of that sunshine soon. Ideal for photographs and very atmospheric for the kind of storytelling we often look for in photos.

Another beautiful landscape Peter. I particularly like the colour of the grass in the foreground and the textures in the water as it was churned by the wind. Excellent!

HI PETER!
The ayers are very rich on this picture and you handle perfectly with them! Your Pov is amazing, it seems to me that I'm walking on this grass and I'm smeeling and feeling the wind that comes from the see! The textures are wonderful!
Congratulations.
Luci

Hi Pete

I can see some white horses dancing out there. Baton down the hatches. Another great feel to another of your gems A1 and go to the top of the class.

SF.

The weather looks very mixed indeed. Well captured!

Nice compo here, boy does that sea look cold or what... The skys not too inviting either. Nicely contrasting against the white building.
Nice capture
Andy
